Location: Hawthorn, Swinburne University


Swinburne University of Technology  will host a 2.5-day workshop bringing together industry partners, researchers and students to share the latest developments in concrete 3D printing. The event will cover key areas including:

  • Materials and processing innovations, including reinforcing strategies, to accelerate the adoption of concrete 3D printing
  • Advances in robotics and automation that enable the construction of complex geometries for enhanced material and structural efficiency
  • Integration of structural analysis and design principles within 3D printed elements and structures
  • Applications of 3D printing in mass construction, including the use of precast elements

This workshop aims to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and advance the understanding of concrete 3D printing across research and industry. SmartCrete CRC will facilitate a panel discussion featuring participants of our 3D Concrete Printed Residential Building for Low Cost Housing project.
