FY2025-26 has been a year of delivery, impact and growing confidence in the legacy SmartCrete CRC will leave for Australia’s concrete ecosystem.

After several years spent building a diverse portfolio of collaborative research, we are now seeing that work translate into tangible outcomes.

Highlights:

$72 million of project investment (cash + in-kind) from Commonwealth, industry and universities
500+ people undertaking collaborative research in SmartCrete projects
67 research projects, with 16 commencing during the reporting period
21 completed projects, with 11 completing during the reporting period
79 research publications in FY2025-26
10 communities of practice
88 industry, government and research partners across Australia
53 PhD and masters degree students
