Australia’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers is an annual campaign by @AuManufacturing. The current version has been made possible through the generous support of Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment, TXM Lean Solutions, the Industry Capability Network, Bonfiglioli Australia, the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre and the SmartCrete CRC.

This 48-page report features never-before-published Q and As with six of the list’s Top 10 companies – Advanced Navigation, Micro-X, Kite Magnetics, Modra Technology, Wild Tech, and Allegro Energy – plus insights on what separated good from exceptional by judge Mike Jennings of WAVE Design, plus a poll of 49 of this year’s nominees.

Among results (responses came in between November 18, 2024 and the close of nominations on March 15) are how our innovators rated the first Albanese government’s understanding of and support for innovation.

Plus there are selected interviews from the campaign, with profiles on Aicraft, Laronix, Element Engineering, Convergence Medical, HB11 and Iondrive. Then there are some punchy insights on what makes an company innovative, featuring Optera Solutions, Medsalv, Smith’s BBQs, Innomerix and WearOptimo.

And if that isn’t enough, it’s all put together by our friends at Studio Riz, whose design is always top-shelf.

We hope this year’s report is as much fun for you to read as it was for us to put together.
